Mani Ratnam's next will be a revenge drama where Karthi and Dulquer Salmaan will fight against each other. “It's going to be a revenge drama that will be based on the theme that revenge is not the ultimate solution. Both Karthi and Dulquer Salmaan will lock horns in the film,” a source said. This is Dulquer's second film with Ratnam as he played lead in his previous 'O Kadhal Kanmani'. The upcoming has already signed Keerthi Suresh as one of the leading ladies while Ratnam is in works to finalise the second. “The regular shooting of the film will start from December or early next year. It'll be wrapped up in three months,” the source said.
