Makers of the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Suriya 42’ have announced Bollywood actress Disha Patani as part of the cast. She will share screen space with Tamil star Suriya in the Siva directorial. Teaser of the movie was released last week and gave us a glimpse into the larger-than-life period drama. While Disha’s character is yet to be revealed, Suriya appears to be playing the role of a prince. In the short clip, he is seen observing a war from the top of a hill.
Disha shared her excitement about being a part of the movie. She said in a statement, “I am super kicked to announce my next with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character that I am playing is also quite unique and I am also excited to bring my never seen before avatar to the audience.”
Suriya also took to social media to announce the movie. He tweeted, “We seek all your good wishes as we begin our adventure!” ‘Suriya 42’ is set to release in a 3D format in 10 languages.
On the work front, Disha was last seen playing a negative role in ‘Ek Tha Villain Returns’. She has Karan Johar’s ‘Yodha’ alongside Sidharth Malhotra and ‘Project K’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone.
