Famed Tamil actor and director Balu Anand met his demise following a massive heart attack in his house in Coimbatore. Anand, 62, has acted in some 100 films and directed a handful of Tamil movies, complained of chest pain at his house in Kalampalayam and was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital.
He , however, died on the way, his family said. He has films like Sathyaraj-starrer 'Annanagar First street' and Vijayakant-starrer 'Nane Raja Naane Mantri,' to his name.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
