Last year, Aishwarya was appointed as the United Nations' Goodwill Ambassador of India. Next week, on the 8th of March, she is set to perform Bharatanatiyam at the UN Headquarters. The performance, which will take place as part of the International Women's Day celebrations, will also be a gesture to promote gender equality.
