Mollywood actress Samyuktha stepped into the Telugu film industry with her debut in 'Bheemla Nayak' in 2022. She recently disclosed that her transition wasn't challenging due to the language barrier but rather due to adjusting to the makeup standards of the industry.

In a conversation with South Indian media, Samyuktha candidly admitted to facing unexpected challenges in the Telugu film industry. She confessed that while it might seem trivial, adjusting to the makeup norms was genuinely difficult for her.

In Malayalam cinema, she enjoyed the freedom of a more natural makeup style, leading to a relaxed atmosphere. However, in Telugu cinema, the emphasis on personal grooming and appearance on screen presented a stark contrast to her previous experience, making the transition uncomfortable for her.

Samyuktha revealed that during filming, she allowed interruptions only from her costume crew to adjust her saree. She found it challenging, feeling constantly conscious of her appearance, unlike in Malayalam cinema where she enjoyed the freedom of going makeup-free with natural hair.

In Malayalam, she's set to appear in a film called ‘Ram’ alongside Mohanlal, directed by Jeethu Joseph. In Telugu, she's gearing up to shoot for a period action film called ‘Swayambhu’ by Bharat Krishnamachari, where she'll share the screen with Nikhil Siddhartha and Nabha Natesh. Additionally, she's also starring in a comedy-drama helmed by Ram Abbaraju, alongside Sharwanand.
