Behindwoods has entered film production with an ambitious project titled "Moon Walk," marking their debut in filmmaking.

This venture by the Tamil media outlet reunites legendary figures AR Rahman and Prabhudheva after a 25-year hiatus. Initially known by the working title #ARRPD6, the collaboration is now officially named "Moon Walk," evoking excitement among fans. The title pays homage to Michael Jackson, reflecting Prabhudheva's nickname as India's MJ, stemming from his early fame as a dancer renowned for his flawless Jackson-style performances.

The film promises to be a wholesome family entertainer with an ensemble cast featuring popular actors like Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Satz, Nishma, and Sushmita, who are expected to bring a humorous punch to the narrative.

AR Rahman’s involvement has particularly heightened expectations. Prabhudheva and AR Rahman have collaborated in many iconic tracks like Mukkalaa and Oorvasi. The two have worked in films Kadhalan, Minsara Kanavu, Gentleman, and Love Birds. The soundtrack for Moon Walk is anticipated to be a similar musical treat, adding to the film’s appeal.

According to reports, the project is currently in its second shooting schedule in Chennai. Titled "Moon Walk," the film is slated for a grand Pan-Indian release in 2025. Directed by Behindwoods Founder and CEO Manoj NS, it is co-produced by Divya Manoj and Praveen Elak. Anoop VS is handling cinematography, Shanoo Muralidharan is overseeing production design, and Raymond Derrick Crasta is in charge of editing.
