'Kabali' to be released in Malay

Much awaited Tamil gangster drama 'Kabali', slated for release on July 1, is all set to be dubbed and released in Malay language. Spoken in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand, the film will be the first Indian project to be dubbed in the foreign language. A source said, “The film's Malaysian distributor Malik Streams has decided to dub and release the film in Malay. On Saturday, the film's teaser was dubbed and released in Malay, and the fans went gaga over it. It was trending on social media for several hours.”

The film features Thalaivar Rajinikanth as Kabali, a character inspired from a real life Chennai-based gangster.
