If anyone is keeping a close watch on what's happening in Kollywood for the past few years, one common aspect that might catch their eyes whenever a big budget movie is slated for a release is that the opposition the film faces before finally making it to the big screen amidst anxiety and chaos. Call it a fashion statement or an effort to obtain cheap publicity by the protesters, unfortunately that's been the story of all high profile movies before their release. The latest victim to suffer from this newly found unhealthy trend is Vikram's much awaited āI.ā It was reported earlier that the Madras High Court has issued a stay order against the movie which could keep the movie off cinema halls for at least 3 weeks. However, the latest news is that Aascar Ravichandran, the producer of the film has assured that the movie will make its way into cinema halls on the said date which is 14th of January. Aascar Ravichandran said, "We two are good friends. Whatever issue we have will be solved amicably within a matter of hours and hence I will be released as per scheduled". According to the producer's statement, looks like āIā will after all make it to the silver screen for the Pongal festival. The news has come across as a huge relief to movie buffs who are eagerly waiting for the release of this romantic thriller.
