Superstar Tabu, who recently revealed her first look as Sister Francesca in ‘Dune: Prophecy’, shared that she joined the cast of the highly anticipated prequel series “without a second thought.” The series serves as a prequel to Denis Villeneuve’s blockbuster *Dune* film franchise.
Tabu described her experience playing Sister Francesca in ‘Dune: Prophecy’ as extraordinary. “From the moment I was approached, I said yes without hesitation. It’s a delight to be trusted with such an interesting, intriguing, and emotionally powerful character,” she said. Tabu will take on the recurring role of Sister Francesca, portrayed as “strong, intelligent, and alluring.”
“Sister Francesca leaves a powerful mark wherever she goes. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace disrupts the power balance in the capital,” the creators explained. Tabu described exploring Sister Francesca’s character as “an immersive process.”
