The owner of Taylor Swift's favourite kebab shop, Kentish Delight in north London, turned down free VIP tickets to her Wembley concert because he was too busy working. The pop superstar discovered the eatery while dating Tufnell Park resident and actor Joe Alwyn.

The shop, featured in Taylor Swift's 2017 music video "End Game," has named her favourite kebab—a chicken doner in pitta with salad and garlic sauce—after her. Ahmed Khan, the kebab shop owner, disclosed that he was offered VIP tickets to one of the eight nights she will perform at Wembley Stadium.

However, Mr. Khan declined the offer, explaining that his busy schedule at Kentish Delight in north London prevented him from attending any of the concerts. He mentioned being understaffed as the reason.

The north Londoner further explained that Swift's team ordered 45 kebabs, each priced at £9.50. Similar orders are expected throughout the London leg of her Eras world tour.

Mr Khan said,“She first came in before the pandemic with Joe. He knew we had the best kebabs so wanted to show Taylor.

“It did not feel like she was a big celebrity. She was very down to earth and spoke to everyone with respect.”
