Anushka Sen, known for her role in 'Dil Dosti Dilemma,' boasts a sizable social media following garnered from her success in various hit TV shows. Now, she ventures into new territory, portraying an assassin in the upcoming international film 'Asia.'
In a recent interview with Variety, Anushka Sen shared her enthusiasm for her involvement in this global project. She expressed, "It's an action thriller with individuals from various Asian countries coming together for this significant film. It's truly a global endeavour, a K-film, and I'm thrilled to be part of it. We've completed the first schedule and eagerly await the second. This marks my debut as an assassin."
The actress also expressed her admiration for Korean cinema and her eagerness to collaborate with the industry. She remarked, "During Covid times, watching K-dramas made me feel wholesome. I kept thinking about the possibility of collaborating with Korea, being part of Asia. The quality of their content is truly inspiring. There are many similarities between Indian and Korean cinema, particularly in how we depict romance and family dynamics."
Anushka Sen has been named the honorary brand ambassador for Korean tourism.
