Waheeda Rehman honoured with special award

Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman has been honoured with a special award for her contribution to the film industry at the Yashwant International Film Festival. The “6th Yashwant International Film Festival-2016” is a joint venture of Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan and Pune Film Foundation. Waheeda said, “This award will always be special as I was blessed with two opportunities to meet Chavan Sir in Mumbai and Delhi. And when I am presented with an award in this film festival named after him, I really feel honoured that my work in the last 50 years is recognised and being appreciated till today,” Waheeda said.
