Captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, and hottie of the Indian film industry, Anushka Sharma have officially tied the knot. Anushka announced the news with a photo of the newly wedded couple, and a caption that read, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”
Speculation that the two lovebirds will bet married by December 12 began doing the rounds after sources said families of both the youngsters had booked a place in Italy from December 9 to 12. it was however, later found out that the wedding was to take place in the world's second most-expensive holiday destination, the Borgo Finocchieto, an hour's drive from Tuscany. Guest list of the star-studded event included ace cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, and B-Town A listers like Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan. A wedding reception is reportedly planned in Mumbai later this month.
