Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone never fail to ace their fashion game with their spectacular fashion sense. While promoting her upcoming film 'The Zoya Factor,' Sonam was all praise for Deepika’s amazing body and also had a piece of fashion advice for Deepika. Sonam had once criticised Deepika for her sense of style.
The actress had a compliment for Deepika and said that she has an amazing body. She said, “I think she has an amazing body. So she should like dress to show her body.”
Deepika and Sonam share a great rapport. The duo have not shared the screen as yet, but did make an appearance together in Karan Johar's popular talk show Koffee With Karan in the year 2010, which was one of the most controversial episodes of that season. Sonam had compared Deepika and Katrina's styles and said, “Katrina is herself. She does not try to fit into a mould, which I respect a lot. She is not trying to be the fashion icon of the century. Even if Katrina wears jeans and a T-shirt and has her hair in ponytail... I’d rather have that than someone who is like ‘I want to be on the cover of Vogue every three months.’”
Calling Deepika a ‘good girl gone bad’, Sonam had said that the one thing Deepika has that she doesn’t is ‘an over enthusiastic PR team’. Sonam has always been looked up to as a fashion diva, to the point that her Aisha co-star Abhay Deol had once complained that it got in the way of the film. Deepika and Sonam made their Bollywood debuts at the same time in the year 2007. Deepika starred in 'Om Shanti Om,' co-starring Shah Rukh Khan while Sonam Kapoor made her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 'Saawariya.'
'The Zoya Factor', based on a novel by Anuja Chauhanwill, stars Sonam and Dulquer Salman in lead roles. The trailer of the film released a few days ago and the promotions are currently in full swing. The film is slated for release on September 20. While Deepika will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak,' in which she will play the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. She will also be seen as Roma Dev (Kapil Dev's wife) in Kabir Khan's '83, which stars Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev.
