Two suspects riding a motorcycle fired five rounds at the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai's Bandra area. Despite Salman and his family members being present at home during the incident, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The Bandra police station has registered an FIR, and the Mumbai crime branch is investigating the matter. Amidst these unsettling events, an online statement attributed to Salman's father, Salim Khan, has been circulating.
Arbaaz Khan has dismissed the report, denying that any member of the family has issued a statement. He addressed the incident on his social media platform, expressing concern over the recent firing at Galaxy apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family. Arbaaz described the event as disturbing and unsettling, emphasising that the family was taken aback by the shocking incident.
The actor clarified that some individuals falsely claiming to be connected to the family have been issuing ‘loose’ statements to the media. Arbaaz said that these statements should not be taken seriously.
He continued, “No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support.”
