The Forbes' list of highest-paid actors in the world includes Bollywood's three superstars - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar. The list, topped by Mark Wahlberg with $68 million this year, places Shah Rukh at number eight, followed by Salman at nine and Akshay at 10.
According to Forbes, Shah earned $38 million in 2017, Salman $37 million, and Akshay $35.5 million. The top 10 actors on the list banked a cumulative $488.5 million- almost three times the combined total of the 10 top-earning women. Rapper-turned-actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson came second with $65 million, Vin Diesel third with $54.5 million, Adam Sandler fourth with $50.5 million, and Jackie Chan fifth with $49 million.
While these three Indian actors are expected inclusions to the list, Aamir Khan's absence was widely noticed considering his last film 'Dangal' that broke worldwide collection records for any Indian film.
