Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's biographical movie on the actor, has reportedly asked the director to shoot a few scenes again. Okay. Let us back up here a little bit. People are all excited to watch the young Kapoor weave magic on screen, and with minor glimpses into his look, the film looks promising. Tentatively titled 'Sanju', the film is almost ready as the principal shooting is already complete.
The team recently decided to show a few rushes of the film to a few distributors and exhibitors from all over the country, and the review is extraordinary. “The Sanjay Dutt biopic might change the whole game for Ranbir. They have just shown us a few scenes and a song and Ranbir is unbelievable,” an exhibitor said. It has also been said that the actor too liked the rushes, however, has requested Hirani to shoot some scenes again. “Ranbir knows this will be his big ticket film. So he wants everything to be just perfect. Apparently, Ranbir wants to do even better than he already has. That's about it,” a source said.
Slated to release on March 30, next year, the film stars Manisha Koirala as Dutt's mother Nargis, Paresh Rawal as his father Sunil Dutt, and Dia Mirza as his wife Maanyata Dutt. Also in the film are Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
