'Baywatch' actress Priyanka Chopra yet again became troll fodder on the internet, second time in a week. The actress hurt several sentiments when she posted a selfie at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. She captioned them, “Holocaust Memorial #Berlin” and “sidharthchopra89 and I being tourists. There is such an eerie silence here.” The photos did not go down well with the Twitteratis, who soon slammed down on her. Recognising the insensitivity in her photos, the actress soon took them down.
Earlier last week, PeeCee met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Berlin. Twitter users chose to shame her for her choice of dress, as she sat cross-legged across Modi. As people showered her with advices on how she should have dressed, the sass-queen posted a pic of herself with her mother- both flaunting legs for days.
Meanwhile, even though Priyanka's Hollywood debut did not fare well at the US box office, Victoria Leeds, her character in 'Baywatch' was widely appreciated with many critics believing she wasn't used to her full potential. Wishes poured in from Bollywood as they all rooted for their favourite co-star. “#baywatch is fun in the sand. @TheRock brings the humour like only he can and @priyankachopra is badass. I laughed throughout,” tweeted Varun Dhawan after a Mumbai screening of the film.
Dwayne Johnson was quick to reply. He said, “Thank you brotha! My and @priyankachopra talking about how much you (and India) will enjoy the movie. Fun is the key word, #Baywatch.”
