Priyanka Chopra was welcomed on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' with tequila last week. Priyanka, who found international acclaim with her American TV series 'Quantico' was asked to take a shot with the host, and of course she said yes!
Gulping down the drink like a pro, PeeCee said, "Thank you for that, this will be a really smooth interview." To which Ellen replied, "Yeah! It's good, this will be our tradition now. Whenever you are talking to me or anybody that's connected to the 'Ellen Show', you do a shot of tequila."
The remainder of the show was however not so smooth with Ellen throwing in some shade at the Bollywood actress. Talking about Priyanka's Hollywood journey so far, Ellen said, "People were so excited because you are beautiful and can act..." when Pri cheekily cut in to say, "That doesn't happen often." Ellen however correcte her saying, "It does happen often, happens all the time as a matter of fact. I am just complimenting you, like I should. That's all."
She also said, "It's a miracle you made it this far."
