Kartik Aaryan, promoting his upcoming film "Chandu Champion," discussed his brand endorsements. He admitted to appearing in a fairness cream ad years ago but ceased endorsing the brand upon realising its potential harm. Kartik also mentioned refusing pan masala brands, a common trend among Bollywood male celebrities.
In an interview, the actor said, “I did an ad for a face cream a long time ago but then I stopped it. I was not convinced. I did not renew it because then I understood that it could be wrong.” In 2018, after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik was seen endorsing a product named ‘Fair and Handsome’ which was targeted towards men trying to make their skin fairer. Two years later, the product’s name was changed to ‘Glow and Handsome’.
Kartik Aaryan revealed that despite receiving numerous offers, he has never signed on to pan masala brands. "I've been offered a lot of brands that I've refused, like those supari, pan masala brands. I don't relate to those things, and I try to avoid them for as long as I can," he explained. When questioned about other actors endorsing such brands, he remarked, "I can't judge who is right or wrong; everyone has their own perspective. But these endorsements don't align with my goals."
