Film producer and director Karan Johar will be making his acting debut in Anurag Kashyap’s “Bombay Velvet.” Though he has done many friendly and guest appearances in the past in some of his and his friend’s films, “Bombay Velvet” will see him in a full-fledged negative role. And now it is heard that he will also be doing a prominent role in the upcoming film “Shandaar.” Initially, Karan was approached by director Vikas Bahl for the role of Alia’s father in the same film but later, Pankaj Kapur filled in as a replacement since Karan Johar was busy with other projects. But latest reports say he would still be a part of the film. However, his role has not been revealed.
