The trailer for Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ was launched at a grand Mumbai event, attended by the cast including Kangana, Anupam Kher, Mahima Choudhary, and Shreyas Talpade. During the media interaction, Kangana, who spent over two years on the film, discussed being boycotted by the industry and claimed that many tried to sabotage her career. She also revealed that her PR team advised her not to speak at the event.

At the event, Kangana Ranaut remarked, "Making this film came with many challenges, as with any film. Every project faces obstacles, but you find supporters along the way. I want to thank my cast specially. Everyone knows I’ve been boycotted by the industry. It’s not easy to stand by me, be part of my film, or praise me, but they’ve done all of that."

Kangana Ranaut revealed that her PR team initially imposed a media blackout ahead of the trailer launch, saying, "My PR team put an 'Emergency' on me, suggesting we avoid the media. But Anupam Kher argued that the media are our friends, so I decided to speak." She also expressed concerns about sabotage, stating, "Some people may try to undermine this project with negativity and invest in PR campaigns to tarnish it. Our industry can be very negative and attempt to ruin careers. That’s why we’re cautious."
