At the trailer launch for the highly anticipated third season of "Mirzapur," actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who serves as the producer of the series, expressed his gratitude to the audience for their continuous support and love throughout the years.
He humorously noted that he's often asked about the release dates of Excel Entertainment's projects, "Don 3" and "Mirzapur." He credited the show's success to the audience, the talented cast, the writing team, and Prime Video's collaboration.
"Mirzapur has made a place in the hearts of the audience all across the world. Wherever I go, people ask me only three questions, one is, 'What are you doing here?', the second is 'When will Don 3 release?' and the third question which they ask me is 'When will Mirzapur 3 come?'. So, I'm very happy that Mirzapur 3 is finally happening," Farhan added.
Director and Executive Producer Gurmmeet Singh revealed that fans can expect "Mirzapur 3" to elevate the crime thriller genre even further. He noted that the first two seasons were game changers for Indian streaming, and with the third season, they aim to delve deeper into each character's life, introducing new plot twists and dimensions. Singh expressed excitement for fans to witness the epic showdown for Mirzapur's throne in the upcoming season.
