Having walked into a beautiful life with husband and fellow actor Ranveer Singh, Deepika is happier than ever and can't stop gushing about her gorgeous husband. After tying the knot in November, the actress has been on cloud 9, and recently revealed an interesting detail. In an interview with Filmfare, the 'Piku' star said she got engaged to Ranveer four years ago.
The couple had begun dating back in 2012 while filming their first movie together. However, they did not confirm their relationship until October this year. They released a wedding announcement on their social media pages and on the same day, she appeared on an episode of 'Koffee with Karan' and confirmed they have been dating for six years. She said, “When I look back, six months into it I was pretty much emotionally invested in us. After that, it was when do we get married? I was never unsure about him. Of course, in a six-year-long relationship, you go through your ups and downs but we never broke up.”
The actress has also confirmed that she has a superhero movie in the pipeline. She said, “Yes, I'm working on it. I hope it happens. There's no script as yet. It's something my friend and I are developing. I was in the plane with a friend from the industry and talking about the movies we'd like to make. We realised that this superhero film is something we'd like to make. It's a seed we're nurturing.”
