Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan died on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest, at the age of 71. However, her family says there will be no prayer meet because of Covid-19, adding that they will “celebrate her life” once situation improves.
In an Instagram post, the family wrote, “Thank you for all your messages and for keeping Mummy in your prayers. Given the current Covid-19 situation, there will be no prayer meet. Whenever the situation improves, we will meet and celebrate the life of Saroj Khan.” The entire movie industry expressed their condolences including actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Amitabh Bachchan etc. Several of her old students and fans too paid their tribute.
