It is evident from author and columnist Twinkle Khanna's social media accounts that she is one doting mother. One of the many Bollywood celebrities who are quite active on the internet, Khanna's account is filled with posts about her family, children, and vacations. While she feels that social media has helped the current generation to “handle the glare of the spotlight”, it has become more difficult to shield them.

Speaking on how she and husband Akshay Kumar maintain their son Aarav and daughter Nitara's privacy, she said, “It has become increasingly more difficult to keep our children shielded within our fishbowl existence but I also console myself with the fact that this generation growing up with social media at the forefront is probably more equipped to handle the glare of the spotlight than we were.”

After the success of her previous book, when asked if the actress is open to the idea of writing an autobiography in the near future, she said, “I think when you write a book about your own life it's very difficult to be completely honest even with yourself. Fiction will paradoxically always have more honesty than a memoir.”
