Actress Janhvi Kapoor celebrated her 22nd birthday lately, ringing it in with her father Boney Kapoor and sister Jhushi in Varanasi. The 'Dhadak' actress' social media was flooded with love and wishes from all quarters, including cousing Sonam Kapoor to BFF Sara Ali Khan. However, it was brother Arjun Kapoor's wish was the most special. He wrote, “Ok see I found an unused picture @janhvikapoor happy birthday hope this year is the beginning of you discovering urself & realising the world is ur oyster... Stay grateful stay humble & stay grounded... Also I hope truly that u give us the same love this year that u give Pankoo ji!!!”
Janhvi later shared a picture of herself looking at the ghats in Varanasi and wrote, “Thankful & grateful. For all your love and blessings. For every opportunity. For my family. For my country. Love you all!” The actress is currently shooting for 'Kargil Girl' in Lucknow, took off to the ghats to celebrate her birthday with family. In an interview, she said, “We drove to Varanasi after the day's work so I could see the Ganga aarti and go to the Kashi Vishwanath temple every year for her birthday when she was working. I went there earlier this year and wanted to go again on my birthday, but arrangements couldn't be made on time. I might go next week.”
In her next, the young Kapoor will essay the role of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena in 'Kargil Girl'. Saxena helped in evacuating injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999. Despite facing the fire, Gunjan and lieutenant Srividya Rajan, managed to bring the soldiers home.
