Actor Akshay Kumar returns to theatres with the drama film *Sarfira*, directed by Sudha Kongara, featuring him in an intense role. Known for his versatility, Akshay has starred in numerous comedy films and has also ventured into the action genre. In an interview, when asked to name the most challenging film of his career, Akshay cited the 2005 release *Garam Masala*, directed by Priyadarshan.

Akshay began by stating, "The toughest? Honestly, it was *Garam Masala*! I used to get exhausted because Priyan [Priyadarshan, the director] Sir would take very long shots. It felt more like performing in a play. Despite the comedic premise of dating four women simultaneously, with all of them in the same house, I found it to be one of the most challenging films to work on."

He added, "It's hard to explain, but there was an expression change in almost every sentence. I’d be talking to one girl, then she would turn away, and I'd have to immediately switch my expression for another girl, playing a different character because she expected something else from me. Then Paresh Rawal would enter, bringing a completely different dynamic. Priyan Sir would capture all of this in one continuous shot, sometimes lasting up to 10 minutes. I found action and dance sequences easier because this required intense concentration, both physically and mentally."
