The sequel to the Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer "Shaitaan" is currently in the works, with an official announcement expected shortly. According to exclusive sources, Ajay and director Vikas Bahl are pleased with the response to the first installment and are eager to see how the sequel fares. The production team plans to commence filming in a few months after finalizing the cast. There's a strong likelihood that the original actors will reprise their roles in the sequel.
"Shaitaan," a supernatural horror thriller and a remake of the 2023 Gujarati film "Vash," revolved around a family conquering the evil forces of black magic. Providing insights into the storyline of the upcoming second installment, an insider reveals, "The sequel's narrative will be set in Kokam, Maharashtra, renowned as the epicenter of black magic in the state. It will delve deeper into the complexities and dark energies of black magic."
“It will not be about another family getting targeted but a different angle to black magic that the makers want to explore,” the source further adds. When asked for a comment from one of the leading actors of the film, Janki Bodiwala, she says, “Well, you know how filmmakers works, right?
