British-Indian rock artist Maya Lakhani has returned with her self-produced second single WALK ALONE, which was released on Friday 23rd April 2021. Making waves in British rock, Maya has cemented her love for the genre from an early age, playing the likes of Rough Trade East, Isle of Wight Festival, New Blood Competition, and The Camden Assembly with previous bands. Her debut single ‘The Line’ received airplay from BBC Introducing, was featured on 3 Spotify editorial playlists, and received national UK airplay on Planet Rock with Wyatt Wendels & Radio X with John Kennedy. Now, the artist is making her return with ‘Walk Alone’. Emotional and electric, the single is inspired by the current conversations that are happening around women’s safety, the culture of victim blaming and the pure desire to walk alone as a woman without fear of attack or abuse.
