Jasbir Singh Hayer (Jaz of the Kray Twinz) unfortunately passed away on the afternoon of October 19 after a four-week-long battle with Covid-19. In a tribute to Jasbir, the Hayer family wrote, “Your talent was just something else, your brain was wired like no other. You broke boundaries with your vision and are leaving a legacy that will be remembered as such. You gave 100% to anything you put your mind to and would never give up. You are and always will be an inspiration to us and many others.”
“Jaz was not only a respected musician but was also involved in lots of community Seva (selfless service). Our prayers are with the friends and family of Jaz. VaheGuru, Akaal Sahai.” Sikh Press Association tweeted.
“Very sad news to hear of the passing of Jaz from @kraytwinz. Only recently I spent some time with Jat on the @thesikhgames and hearing the stories of how these two brothers broke boundaries was eye-opening. Huge loss for the Asian diaspora,” Head of Diversity & Inclusion Programmes FA England, Dal Sindh Darroch, tweeted.
