On 17th and 18th October 2015, Arture Connect 2015 will present International Style Week, where they will be celebrating Indo-British art and fashion in style, at the London College of Contemporary Arts. They will be promoting the best of Make in India and Made in Britain.
This will be a unique cross-border fashion event which provides a platform for designers and artists from Europe and India to showcase their creations.
“Arture Connect 2015” aims to provide a platform for fashion designers from Europe and India to showcase their wares whilst encouraging the vast array of artists and designers who work in fashion- from make-up artists through graphic designers to digital marketers- to use the event to innovate, inform and be inspired.
Each segment will feature lifestyle, music and other design exhibits, conferences- featuring speakers from the worlds of design, marketing, international trade and business- and exclusive catwalk shows.
ArtureConnect is the brainchild of Preeti Gaikward, as well as her team at TwoCorners. She said, “We have been analysing the opportunities and working closely with the artists and designers from India for over two years now and see a massive potential for cross border collaborations. With an industry growing at the rate of 20% per annum, it is important to recognise unique designs and support the designers to create a market for the same. We will be actively promoting new designers and artisans at Arture Connect 2015.”
