Senior bank manager at Bank of Baroda, UK for a very long time, Mr. Girishkumar Lallubhai Desai sadly passed away on Saturday 9th December in Surat, Gujarat at the age of 74. He was born in Buhari, Gujarat in 1943. He originated from Puni, Gujarat and lived in London from a very long time.
His funeral was held on Monday 11th December, in Surat followed by a prayer meeting. He was the follower of Swami Shri Satya Mitranand Giriji and did seva for many years for Samanvay Parivar London. He is survived by his wife Jayshriben, daughter Reshmaben, and son-in-law Nayan Dutta.
He led an exceptional life where he repeatedly won people's hearts by unparalleled kindness and his jolly nature. Selflessness and to help others at any opportunity were his motto. There are hundreds of people whose lives he changed for the better throughout his life, some who we are only finding out about now. He loved gardening a lot and always liked to give friends and family members seasonal plants. He was fond of the internet and technology and always shared good, informative and thoughtful emails and whatsapp messages within his friend circle.
