On 5th October 2019, Viral Doshi of Hayes was awarded the Global Health Award for Pharmacy. Often called ‘The Oscars’ of healthcare professionals for celebrating those working at the ‘Coal Face’, the ceremony was attended by healthcare professionals from all over the UK.
Son of Dr Vinod and Hasmita Doshi, Viral is considered one of the best pharmacists in Great Britain. He has won several awards in his career including- The Pharmacy Business Award, The Clinical Pharmacy Congress Award, The Chemist and Druggist Award and The Royal Pharmaceutical Society Awards.
Viral is a passionate advocate for the role that pharmacies can play in supporting the health agenda and has led many varied and innovative projects. He was earlier also designated as a ‘fellow’ of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society for his distinction in pharmacy.
