The overall performance of Indian spinners v/s English spinners at Mumbai cricket test match

The contrast between the Indian and English spin bowlers could not have been greater in the decisive 4th test. On a turning Mumbai wicket, England’s toss win and decision to bat first should have been decisive, however, their innings was derailed by Ashwin and Jadeja, who between them shared all 10 wickets. England’s spinners couldn’t dominate in the same way, with Moeen and Rashid taking 6 wickets between them, 2 of which were too little too late. But what has really caught the eye in this series is not the bowling prowess of India’s spin kings, but rather their penchant for runs. Jayant Yadav’s century was a classy innings turned the game. With India’s three spinners making batting look easy, it’s no wonder why opposition batsmen find them so bamboozling. Beating India at home has suddenly become harder than ever.
