Nasir Uddin, 39, was found guilty of one rape, two offences of attempted rape and four sexual assaults.
A jury took four hours and 56 minutes of deliberations before announcing the verdicts at Leicester Crown Court.
The rape offence and one of the attempted rapes, which took place in Loughborough, resulted in guilty verdicts by a majority of 10-2 and the other convictions were unanimous.
Uddin, a taxi driver, of Lower Cambridge Street, Loughborough, denied any misconduct towards the female college student, between 2003 and 2005.
Judge Robert Brown remanded Uddin into custody to await sentencing on January 30. “It will be a prison sentence of a substantial length.”
