Bollywood actor Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja has cleared the air about her father asking super star Salman Khan to launch her in the industry. Rumours were ripe that “Dabangg” was originally intended to star Tina Ahuja opposite Salman, but opted for Sonakshi Sinha later. The speculations were further triggered when the budding actress accompanied him to the IIFA Awards, 2007. “It was said that my dad asked him to launch me. But it is not true. That was just a rumour. I was never going to be launched by him. It was all created by the media” she said. “I have met him just two-three times. I was too shy to talk to him. He is my father's friend, not mine.”
