Boney Kapoor is producing a woman centric film for actress-wife Sridevi, which will also mark the directorial debut of popular ad filmmaker Ravi Udwayar. A source said, “The story had been written with Sridevi in mind. Boney loved it and immediately came on board.” It was initially speculated that Akshara Haasan, daughter of Kamal Haasan will play her daughter in the film, which were quickly dismissed by Boney. He cleared matters saying, “Akshara is not in the film. Yes, it is a woman-centric drama, but not a remake of any film. It is not titled Mother.”
