Putting an end to all speculations about her alleged relationship with former co-actor Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt in a promotion of her upcoming film 'Shandaar', said she is single right now. Praising Malhotra, she said, “He is far more calmer, happier, more easy and likes to play cricket. He also likes to interact with the crew.” When asked about her relationship status, she said, “I am single.” Adding, “Stop searching for the smoke then you will not get fire.”
“I am very close to Sid and always will be. We started our careers together. And I have had a great relationship with every co-actor of mine.” Alia who will soon share screen with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in Gauri Shinde's upcoming untitled project said she was intimidated. “I feel intimidated by Shah Rukh obviously because of his experience. But then I am also excited. With Shahid, I was nervous when I met him but then later it was all cool.” When asked what she thinks about Salman Khan, she replied “Salman Khan is Shaandaar!”
