After winning two awards at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival, Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Shanak' made its Asian premiere at the Busan International Film Festival 2015 held in South Korea. The movie was met with a warm reception as the audience cheered right through the end credits. Kukunoor said, “Dhanak's dream run continues! To be given a chance to screen at Busan is a wonderful honour.” CEO of Drishyam Films, Shiladitya Bora said, “We are delighted to have the film's Asian premiere at Busan. Busan has a fantastic film market with a diverse and engaging audience presence. We are excited about having received quite a few distribution queries from various territories.”
